Rozaine is the Industry Liaison at the Australian Centre for Space Engineering Research (ACSER) in the School of Electrical Engineering and Telecommunications at the University of New South Wales (UNSW). She is simultaneously completing her PhD in absentia at Purdue University, USA. Rozaine’s PhD research involves investigating the application of broadband transmissions from large low-Earth orbiting constellations as signals of opportunity (SoOp) for Earth remote sensing. She has previously completed her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Purdue University with a major focus in astrodynamics and space applications. While she is not working on her PhD, she is focused on volunteering her time with Go DREAM Initiative in Sri Lanka, exploring Sydney’s breathtaking coast line, and mastering the art of Cuban salsa.
