Navigating Our Future: Unlocking Australia's Positioning Potential (hosted by Positioning Australia)
Ginan Workshop
Time: | 2pm - 5pm |
Date: | Tuesday 6th February 2024 |
Venue: | UNSW Kensington |
The Ginan Team at Geoscience Australia are very pleased to offer the position, navigation and timing (PNT) community a chance to workshop with them the Ginan open-source precise point positioning (PPP) software toolkit.
The workshop will provide a hands-on experience for participants where they will install the Ginan software in either a Linux, OSX or Windows environment.
During the Workshop, participants will work through preconfigured YAML configurations including processing a GNSS data example, and (time permitting) learn to develop a configuration file to process their own GNSS data.
This is a great opportunity to learn more about the extensive capabilities of this powerful positioning toolkit and understand how Ginan can help you develop new PNT products, services and techniques.
Participants will be expected to bring their own laptop (no computers provided) and although installation will be covered, participants are encouraged to attempt to install the Ginan software beforehand:
